About us

DECKADE Studio is an independent yacht concept design firm based in Tokyo, Japan, focused on creating distinctive, immersive, and enduring design experiences at sea. Drawing from an architectural approach to form, space, and experience, we develop yacht concepts that bring together exterior styling, interior environments, layout, materials, and overall character into one cohesive design direction. Our deliverables can include concept development, 3D modeling, layout studies, material and design direction, and high-quality exterior and interior visualizations, giving clients a clear representation of the proposed yacht before technical development begins. DECKADE Studio’s scope is centered on concept and design development, with naval architecture, engineering, regulatory certification, and construction documentation taken forward by the appropriate naval architects, engineers, and shipyards as the project progresses toward build.

Our Process

Client Vision

We begin with a focused conversation to understand your vision, preferences, and expectations for the yacht. This establishes the foundation for the design.

INITIAL CONCEPT DELIVERY

Your vision is developed into an initial design and presented through a defined set of concept materials. This establishes the design direction before progressing further.

Design Development

The selected concept is refined through form, layout, and 3D development. Client feedback is incorporated throughout as the design progresses toward its final form.

Final Delivery

The completed concept is brought together into a polished final presentation. Final visuals, 3D models, and design materials are prepared for handover.
